In these terms and conditions we, our or us refers to Aspire Rehab Limited
These terms and conditions apply to the entire contents of this website under the domain name www.aspirerehab.co.uk, and to any correspondence by email /mail between us and any authorised person on our behalf. . By accessing the content of www.aspirerehab.co.uk (“the Website”) or any of our associated sites you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and you accept our privacy policy available online. If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should contact us before considering using any of our services.
You agree that you shall not use the Website for illegal purposes, and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the website in a way that may impair the performance, corrupt the content or otherwise reduce the overall functionality of the Website. You also agree not to compromise the security of the Website or attempt to gain access to secured areas or sensitive information.
You agree to be fully responsible for any claim, expense, liability, losses, costs including legal fees incurred by us arising from any infringement of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
We offer a 15 minute free consultation to discuss your specific needs and describe our service. This could be via telephone call, skype, face time or email enquiry. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have a query.
By attending therapy sessions or providing access to your house with verbal consent, it is presumed you are consenting to treatment and have read and understood the above terms and conditions. Clients will be discharged at the end of an episode of care. This is when therapy is complete or when the client’s potential is achieved in the area targeted by therapy. You may also choose to withdraw from therapy at any time, or postpone therapy.
Fees are agreed prior to assessment & treatment commencing. The fee includes time spent outside the session in planning, preparing therapy materials, and any necessary telephone/email liaison with clients, family and other professionals. It also includes the cost of assessment and paper based therapy materials. Travel time or mileage is currently not charged separately, but if we need to travel longer distances we will discuss with you at the early stage and agree a cost to cover travel arrangements (e.g 45p per mile).
All fees are agreed prior to the start of therapy, unless otherwise agreed. All sessions must be paid for in advance or on the day. Payments can be made by cash, cheque or direct bank transfer. A written receipt/invoice can be provided on request. If a session is not paid for on the day, further sessions may be suspended until payment has been made. People who require long term input (rehabilitation packages) could be agreed to pay weekly or monthly, as appropriate.
24 hours’ notice is required to help us re-arrange the visit with another person. Sessions cancelled after this time or not attended will be charged at 50% the usual rate. However we understand that unforeseen situations may occasionally prevent attendance and we can discuss this if it occurs.
A client may withdraw from therapy at any time. A week’s notice would be appreciated. Occasionally we may need to rearrange your appointment. We will aim to contact you at least 48 hours in advance and arrange another appointment to suit you.
Sessions can take place at
It is requested that clients provide a quiet environment, free from distraction (e.g. phone, TV). When a session is arranged at a care home, the care home must be informed and be in agreement. It is expected that a member of staff and/or family member will be available to discuss the session.
Therapist will complete risk assessment and take reasonable precautions at the locations used for the sessions, but client and family members will be expected to follow health and safety advice on locations used by them. Therapist will give advice on safe use of the equipments, but clients and family members are expected to read the instruction provided by manufacturer (this includes, but not limited to exercise band/theraband, splints, and electrotherapy machine/pads).
Letters and Reports will be written at the client’s request and may incur additional costs. Reports or advice will only be distributed to other relevant professionals (e.g. GP) with the consent of the client/guardian. Exercise programme/pictures will be provided free of charge, as part of the therapy. We can take your photos for personalised exercise pictures/positioning guidelines if required, and we will always seek your consent for Photos and these photos will not be used for anyone else or business promotions etc.
It is considered as best practice to share information with relevant professionals in order for you to receive appropriate therapy and for us to work efficiently and effectively with you. However we are committed to protecting your privacy and therefore your agreement will be sought before information/reports are circulated or prior to consultation with other professionals unless we are obliged by law to disclose personal data.
We accept self-referrals and referrals from health care professionals, social care professionals, family members with consent of the client (or in best interest, if applicable).
By using the Website you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of Aspire Rehab limited and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose of any material contained within the Website.
The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Aspire Rehab Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without written permission from Aspire Rehab Limited. You may use the content or print any information for personal, non-commercial purpose.
Aspire Rehab Ltd reserves the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement. Last updated: Feb 2024.
